At the age of 43, Garry died very unexpectedly in 2018, too soon. He Lived and worked on the Ayrshire coast. Garry was a talented photographer keen on mountains, the sea and wild life in all seasons and weathers. At the age of 9 his first experience with the RNLI was at a fund raising evening at Carradale Harbour in the Mull of Kintyre, where he got to board a lifeboat and so his love of boats began.
