Melvin ‘Mel’ Battersby…my Dad, my Hero, my World. He had so much respect for all of the RNLI crews and staff. Our 2 annual trips to the Rhyl RNLI station to see the boat and purchase his much loved gifts that he cherished will never be the same, but I will continue our lovely tradition we had. I am so proud he will be helping to guide the crew on the new Shannon lifeboat in Anstruther. And I know he will be proud too. Love you for always and forever xxxxx
