Alistair "Ali-barrel" Grant
Ali and I met when we were both working in theatre, we loved and laughed for over thirty years. When the children were young I gave him a "Come and sail" day, and he was hooked. He loved sailing. He used to say that as a lighting designer you sat inside in an auditorium for so many hours that to be out on the water was so freeing. Even when MND made sailing his Solo impossible, he moved unto Sailability. He passed his love of sailing onto the children.
