Remembering our Dad & Grandad, who loved the sea. As a yachtsman he learned to navigate and sail the English channel, then the southern waters of Australia. He sailed his yacht from Sydney to Perth, and enjoyed many trips to Rottnest Island. As the Managing Director for the Department of Marine & Harbours in Western Australia he fostered the sailing community with new marinas, and the commercial shipping industry with port facilities. His name will now be at sea again, with every rescue. X
