James Hinton
My Granda, James Hinton, was Treasurer of South Queensferry RNLI from 1967 to 1977. As a child, I remember helping out at the original station shed and how proud he was to be part of the organisation. The 'Ferry' was a small town then and it was a great honour to be associated with the Lifeboat. I am now a volunteer with the RNLI, along the coast in Kinghorn, and am equally proud to be part of the Lifeboat family.
