Dad was a submariner during ww2. His stories of being beneath the sea whilst German gunboats sailed above, confirmed the bravery of all those sailors who fought in the Second World War. He always had an affinity with the sea and was happiest when he was near water. He loved to fish and cruise the waterways of England and admired and supported the RNLI all his life. He would be thrilled to know his name will be remembered and featured on a lifeboat.
