My amazing son Nick Batty spent most of his life at sea, delivering boats across vast oceans & sailing to far away exotic shores.
The sea was his freedom, it was his escape & happiness & he especially loved the challenge of heavy weather sailing in his own yacht ‘Talent’.
I can’t think of a better tribute than to have his name on a RNLI lifeboat. It will be as if he’s still out there doing his bit to help people.
