Remembering our dearly loved and missed Dad, Leslie Ronald Pool, who died age 60 on 6 April 1980. He and Mum, Barbara Pykett formerly Pool, spent many happy times in Wells. Dad was a devoted husband and father. He worked for the Ministry of Defence. His many interests included swimming, science and Boys Brigade. He was a strong but unassuming Christian and died suddenly at church on Easter Sunday. He was a gentleman in every sense. It feels fitting to remember him on the Wells lifeboat.
