Remembering our dearly loved and much missed Mum, Barbara Pykett formerly Pool. She and Dad, Leslie Ronald Pool, bought a cottage in Wells in 1980 when he retired. Sadly Dad died soon after.
The Cottage became an important retreat for all the family and also Edward ‘Ted’ Pykett, whom Mum married in 2010 and with whom she enjoyed eleven happy years. They died a few days apart at 94, Ted on 2nd and Mum on 6th March 2021.
Mum would have been thrilled to have their names on the Wells lifeboat.
