Dennis ‘Black Captain’ Mitchell: 9.11.1927 to 4.11.2020

In memory of a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Dennis loved the sea, and sailing was a passion in his life. A self-taught dinghy sailor, he built his own cruiser with his best friend Maurice, and enjoyed many happy years in retirement, cruising in Milford Haven estuary and further afield. He became affectionately known as the ‘Black Captain’ to family and friends who had the pleasure of sailing with him.
