Robin served in the navy for many years and had a lifelong love of the sea. He raised thousands of pounds for the Aberystwyth lifeboat station riding a post office bike from the Post Office in Brownhills to Aberystwyth lifeboat station. He was made an honorary lifeboatman in thanks. Robin loved life was very close to his family, he always said he was blessed with a Granddaughter Rebekah.
