When I first saw this advertised, I didn’t hesitate to add my Dad’s name to such a wonderful cause. He had been in the Navy during the cod wars and had started a travelling bug that never went away. He used his training as an electrical engineer to travel the world. He was also in the Navy bands and obviously being tall played the bass drum. Sadly, he had dementia but always retained his sense of humour. I miss him dearly. He wasn’t grumpy in the photo just didn’t like his photo taken. Xxxxxxx
