Angela and I were married for less than 10 years when she died. Unlike me, she was not a sailor but she was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother who understood the importance of the RNLI’s lifesaving work. I know she would be pleased that her name is associated with supporting a vital service that keeps us all safe at sea and will come to our rescue, whatever the weather.
