Jack spent many years at his second home "Wells-next-the-sea" in Norfolk, always supporting the local lifeboat & knowing all of the crew was a great pleasure to him. Whenever the lifeboat was called out whatever time of day or night he would be there to see the launch even if it meant following it along the beach and quite often until it returned. Wells & it's community meant so much to him especially after he lost his darling wife Doreen.
