PATRICK HARRY
Patrick was a Mousehole boy, always messing about in boats as a boy, and although we moved around the county due to his job we were staunch supporters of the Penlee Lifeboat, and of course the Solomon Brown in particular. Patrick was a life governor of the RNLI, as am I.
The crew of the Mabel Alice, which replaced the Solomon Brown, took me out on the Mabel Alice to scatter Patrick's ashes off St Clement Isle when he died suddenly aged 50, a fitting memorial.
