It wasn't long after last Christmas we lost Dad, the figure of the family that set the foundations and direction I'd later in life follow, and make a career of it here in the RNLI. He was the example of a courageous fisherman, being at sea for over 50 years, supporting his family. He later in life loved nothing more than being part of the RNLI as DLA. He will continue to be with the RNLI on the Numbers of Wells' new Shannon Lifeboat.
