Ray Wilkins
Ray worked for the Ministry of Defence for 43 years. He was apprenticed to Chatham Dockyard when he left school in 1968 until it closed and he transferred to Faslane and later to Defence Equipment and Support at Abbey Wood Bristol providing support to the Royal Navy. Before Ray retired in 2011 his work on HMS Westminster and HMS Argyll was recognised by Commendation Awards from Director Ships, Rear Admiral Love and Chief of Fleet (Material) Vice Admiral Matthews. Ray died 17/5/22
