For my beautiful Nan who passed away on 7 Jul 22 from cancer, cremated 3 Aug 22. She supported me joining the Royal Navy from day 1 even taking me to Totnes Train Station on my first day in the Service; I’m still serving 14yrs later. Me and my Nan and Grandad have many amazing Navy memories; they always visited me in Portsmouth and Plymouth when my ship’s came in. To think her name will be carried by an RNLI vessel means her adventures at sea will not be over. I love and miss you Nan, always xxx
