Marie Gerry
Carol, Dominic & Rachel xxx
Mum came from a family of coastguards-her grandfather and great grandfather served in both the Cork and North Berwick areas. Her grandfather, Patrick Hartnett, won a RHS Bravery award in 1876, for rescuing a boy from drowning at Leven. Mum and Dad both loved the sea and lived their final years at Broughty Ferry, overlooking the beach. Dad's name, William Gerry, is on the new Invergordon lifeboat because of his family's connections, for many generations, with the sea too. Both are dearly missed!
