This seems a very appropriate way to remember my dear late husband, Peter. He spent 10 years as a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy, with much of his shore time with dear friends in Scarborough, and after we married we took up first dinghy sailing then coastal sailing. So despite being born in Oxford he was very close to the sea at heart.
