Ron "Atty" Attwood
Our Ron, known as Atty to his friends, loved the sea. He spent most of his life working on the tugboats at Southampton and when he wasn't working he would often go sea fishing, with one of his favourite spots being Chesil Beach.
He was also a beloved husband, dad and grandad who is missed every day by his family.
We couldn't think of a better way to honour his memory than to add his name to an RNLI lifeboat, allowing him to be at sea once again.
