Stephen Murphy (aka Stephen Aintree)
Like many scousers, Stephen had the sea in his family, his dad a seafarer for many years. Stephen always had a love of ships and was a supporter of the Seaman's Mission in Liverpool. When he passed away in 2022, he was laid to rest, with his parents, on the mighty River Mersey. To have his name on an RNLI Lifeboat seems such a fitting way to remember him. Thank you for this opportunity, I hope this boat and crew continue to save lives.
