Our Kate (grandmother, mother and much loved partner) spent years raising money for the RNLI. In her younger years was a swimming teacher and taught the importance of safe swimming to the youth of Northern Ireland and to her grandchildren. Our Grandad Eric (not the same Eric the boats named after) even tricked her to teach him how to swim. Kate was also in the Royal Naval Reserve in her youth. We all love her dearly and miss her every day.
