Herbert Edward Milford

Herbert was a long-standing supporter of the Plymouth lifeboats and used to collect for them in the city centre. Ironically, his first experience of an actual 'shout' was in 2002 when my brother took his ashes to be scattered in Plymouth Sound from the lifeboat, and part-way out they had to return to stand by a yacht near the rocks.
