Dear Mum , This was a charity close to your heart and one you supported for years. As a child, I did not really understand why I was walking around an inland Yorkshire Town, with a plastic lifeboat on a strap around my neck. I did, however, know it was a special thing to do and was always excited when delivering the collection envelopes and then calling back later. In later life you always found the local RNLI shops wherever you were visiting. I now do the same. Miss you, Mum xxx
