My daughter's mum died when she was just nine years old, our whole world turned upsidedown. She is eleven now and carries on with such inspirational strength. Her mother and I grew up in a seaside town where the launching of the lifeboat was a big thing and seeing it's safe return was a big thing too. My daughter has always loved watching 'Saving Lives at Sea' on television and the thought of being able to dedicate just a small part of a lifeboat to her wonderful Mum makes us very proud. 💕
