Carol died at Christmas 2023 aged 66. She lived near Lyme Regis and was a regular visitor to the RNLI station at Lyme with her young grandchildren who were regular pocket money spenders in the shop and RNLI enthusiasts. Although never a sailor Carol loved the sea and appreciated so much the dedication and bravery of the RNLI crews. Carol was a much loved wife, mother of two wonderful children and a dotting grandmother of 4 little ones.
